Hello, my Indian Name is Red Skunk, I am twenty-nine-years-old and I live in Kamiah, Idaho. My father was the late Harry H. Slickpoo Sr. and my grandfather was the late Allen P. Slickpoo Sr. ...I am happy to share my Nez Perce Language, our history, and our culture with others who are genuinely interested. I am a young learner, while at the same time, I have been teaching what language I do know for about three years or so now. I work with the Nez Perce Tribe in Idaho to bring the Nez Perce Language into public schools and into tribal homes on and near the Nez Perce Reservation. For more information, here are some useful websites you can visit: Nez Perce Tribe's Website http://nezperce.org/Official/languageprogram.htm Nez Perce Language Program's Website http://www.nimipuutimt.org/ Also look for myself and others on Facebook or on Twitter you can follow @nimiipuutimt for the Nez Perce Word of the Day. qeˀciyéw’yew’ (Thank You)!!
