Once, me and my daughter, · with a volunteer who came and taught at Bosung; we went, we started here then went to the North. · We started here and walked, we kept on going... we were climbing up the hill. · We reached the top of the hill, we kept on going... the ash plain. · Then we were walking along. · We kept on going... · along the creek that we follow to Ranvetlam, but it was still up there, it was still the east. · We went and heard a bull crying; so I said to this man, · this whiteman, I said "Hey there's a bull here!" · But the white man want to see the bull properly first. · The white man wanted to see the bull properly; he looked and saw the bull but I'd already climbed up, I was up high. · I climbed up to a high branch, I was calling this man saying "don't look at the bull, it's a wild bull, it could come kill you!" But the white man wanted to see the bull properly. · He stayed down, he stood there looking at the bull; when he saw this bull was coming, the white man came, I stayed up on the branch. · my girl jumped back down, she pushed the whiteman to climb up following us up to the top. · I barked like a dog, the cow ran away; we saw that · the wood was breaking because of the bull. · The legs, the whiteman's legs were shaking. · His legs were shaking, he said "if I'd stayed down, the bull would have killed me." · He climbed along and we stayed there, his legs stopped shaking then · he climbed down, we, I barked like a dog and the bulls, these wild bulls came out and ran away. · They ran and ran and ran; we heard them running; then he came down, then we went back down to the ground and followed the bull track. · We kept going and climbed to Ranvetlam. · We went to the hill that goes to Ranvetlam; we went and ate; we finished eating. · Okei we went off; we kept going and going until we came out in Ranvetlam. · I went and saw the boys, the boys saw us and said "go and sleep a bit" then we slept. · We slept then we told them about this bull um, they really laughed at us; we went out, · We slept and then in the morning we went to my home in Vandere. · We went out to the house, · we came out the house, and went and they were celebrating new year; so we sang with the people who were celebrating new year here. · We sang until they finished and left, we went and slept in the house, at my home. · My story ends here. ·
