Ugandan greetings from Maputo
Added by chiku
Viola is a bag designer who has been living in Maputo for the past five years. At the FEIMA market where she sells her bags she recorded a sample of her mother tongue Lugbara spoken in North-West Uganda, Maracha district, where she comes from. Although she feels like she is loosing the language a little as she does not get to practise it with anyone in Maputo she gives us an example of a conversation between two people who greet each other and talk about where they are going.
